You are not alone

It was only 3 weeks ago I was in the middle of a park. With my mate. And a few new mates. Surrounded with more fellow ravers. I love being in the midst of crowd. I feel more connected with people. I feel a little less alone.

After a few days off, I came into work thinking it was a usual work day. But it wasn’t. Not one member from my team were in the office.

I was the only one in the office. And another contractor who was supposed to finish up within the week.

With the new restriction extending to public gathering outside of work, it means stay at home even on weekends. The thought of being at home 7 days a week kinda freak me out a little.

I checked my memo again last week. It basically stated, work from home until futher notice.

The recent advise of home-schooling means children will spend more time at home. Salute to the parents who are working from home and also looking after their kids at the same time.

For those who are single, how do they stay at home without getting over the isolation blues.

It’s going to be a tough time for you and I and that’s okay. Just remember to reach out to your family and friends. Beyond Blue also has support program to deal with COVID-19 outbreak: 1300 224 636.

Keep well and keep safe.

You are not alone.
